Mark Colver

Mark joined Grant Thornton in June 2009 as Tax Director and head of the Tax Department in Guernsey. He previously worked for one of the ‘big four’ in Guernsey having moved to the island from Norwich in 2000.

Mark has over 20 years tax experience which includes dealing with tax authorities at the highest level in both Guernsey and the UK. He specialised in corporate tax in both jurisdictions and has also acted for UK groups with a European presence. His particular industry focus is the property sector.

As well as corporate tax, Mark advises on personal tax and has experience advising on wealth planning opportunities for high net worth individuals and, in particular, to those living in, or moving to different jurisdictions.
